By popular demand, Calley McGrane and the Exiles will return to Valhallapalooza for an encore performance!
In 1996, at the age of seven, Calley was introduced to the violin and continued with her classical training in public schools and primarily at the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford. Calley was soon drawn to the music of her Celtic roots and was fortunate enough to learn the art of traditional fiddling from some of the genre’s best musicians from Ireland, Canada, and New England. Calley has won numerous wards in competitions for her fiddling. With her heartfelt singing of traditional ballads as popular as her electrifying fiddling, Calley’s performances are engaging and have a wide appeal with live audiences. With over 10 years of musical performances to her credit, Calley’s presence on stage is both energetic and relaxed, with an appeal that is inter-generational.
With three CDs produced in as many years, the Exiles have performed at some of the areas most prestigious Celtic music venues. At Valhallapalooza, Calley and the Exiles will have copies of their CDs for sale and signing during the intermission.
