Kubb: A Viking Era Lawn Game
Kubb (pronounced “Koob”) is known to create great excitement in pregnant woman, elder folk, wee children, and anyone else with a pulse. To date, no known cure has been found. Its simple rules, combined with the fact that one gets to throw hard wooden sticks at hard wooden blocks, make it a lot of fun. This workshop won't find us sitting around discussing much. Instead, we'll set up a Kubb set or two, and get right to it. Handouts and playing tips will be provided. Experienced kubb players are encouraged to bring their own sets and play against each other.

Singing bowls are a type of bell, specifically classified as a standing bell. Rather than hanging inverted or attached to a handle, standing bells sit with the bottom surface resting. The sides and rims of the singing bowls vibrate to produce otherworldly sounds. They were traditionally used in Buddhist practice as a support for meditation, trance induction and prayer.
Gongs have been used for thousands of years as an important a tool for meditation. The tones and waves of the gong are said to give the listener the ability to travel out of the body and free the mind. It is used for clearing out the subconscious mind of unnecessary clutter, and just having a great out-of-this world experience. Learn how to use these powerful tools for meditation, relaxation, healthcare, personal well-being and to connect to the Divine within.

"This album is nothing less than FANTASTIC !!! In my 25 + years hosting an Irish/Celtic Radio Show here in Brockton Massachusetts, I have received so many great albums but it is so rare to receive one with such great original songs, outstanding arrangements and such a great voice to deliver the songs with such feeling. I would certainly nominate this album as 'Album Of The Year'.
It's music like this that makes me want to stay on the radio after all these years."
